Payroll software built for Pakistan

Aiden runs Pakistani payroll end to end — attendance-driven earnings, overtime, daily wages, FBR income tax, EOBI and provincial social security, loans, payslips and bank files — with a preview you approve before anything is committed.

Why payroll is hard in Pakistan — and what changes

The difficulty is rarely the arithmetic. It is that attendance sits in a biometric machine, leave sits in a register, overtime sits with a supervisor, and tax rules change every Finance Act. Most teams solve this with a week of spreadsheet reconciliation every month, and carry the risk of one wrong formula reaching 1,500 payslips.

Aiden closes the gap by keeping all of it in one system. Attendance is materialised per scheduled day as punches arrive, leave-without-pay is already applied, statutory rates are versioned data, and payroll reads all of it directly. The month-end job becomes review and approval rather than data assembly.

How a payroll run works

  1. 1

Attendance and leave are already there

Punches from your biometric readers become scheduled-day attendance, and approved leave is applied — so payroll starts with correct inputs instead of a reconciliation week.

  2. 2

    Earnings and overtime are valued

Salary, allowances, daily wages, piece rates and overtime at your own multipliers are computed, including holiday working paid as an additive earning.

  3. 3

Statutory deductions run in one pass

FBR income tax, EOBI, SESSI or PESSI by province, provident fund and Workers’ Welfare Fund are applied inside the same run.

  4. 4

    Loans and advances are recovered

Approved loan instalments and salary advances are deducted, and the outstanding balance is derived from what payslips actually took.

  5. 5

    You preview, then approve

Check gross, deductions, tax and net for every person, fix anything, recalculate. Nothing is committed until you approve — and afterwards, history is append-only.

  6. 6

    Outputs are generated

Payslips, bank transfer file, payroll register, statutory registers and challans — all from the same committed data.

Statutory compliance included

FBR salaried income tax, EOBI, SESSI in Sindh and PESSI in Punjab, Workers’ Welfare Fund, provident fund and gratuity are part of the platform rather than a customisation project. Rates and slabs are versioned data you update yourself, so a budget change is a new version — and last year’s payslips stay exactly as they were computed.

Payroll questions, answered

What is the best payroll software in Pakistan?

Aiden HR is a Pakistan-first payroll platform: FBR salaried tax slabs, EOBI, SESSI and PESSI, Workers’ Welfare Fund, provident fund and gratuity are built in as versioned data you control, and payroll reads attendance and leave directly instead of importing a spreadsheet.

Does the payroll software handle overtime and daily wages?

Yes. Monthly salaried staff, daily wages, piece rates, hourly work, weekday and rest-day overtime multipliers and holiday working all run on the same payroll engine in one pass.

How does payroll software calculate FBR tax?

Aiden applies the FBR salaried income-tax slabs in force for the tax year being run, withholding one-twelfth of the annual liability each month. Slabs are stored as versioned data, so a Finance Act change is a data update and historical payslips remain exactly as computed.

Can payroll software generate a bank transfer file?

Yes. Each approved run produces payslips, a bank transfer file in your bank’s format, a payroll register for finance, and the statutory registers and challans for EOBI and provincial social security.

How long does it take to move payroll to Aiden HR?

Most companies go live in weeks: import employees with the wizard, configure pay elements and statutory settings as data, connect biometric devices, then run a preview payroll in parallel with your existing process before switching.
